Here, form and motion take precedence over realism—elegant, abstract lines sweep upward in a striking arc, cradling a simplified, stylized kingfisher. Its crested head and long beak offer just enough detail to capture the essence of the bird, while the fluid, elongated base gives the entire piece a sense of lift, like a bird caught in a moment of stillness between flight.
