In this video, Geoffrey C. Smith shares some interesting facts about the Brown Pelican, which happens to be one of his favorite subjects. He often sees them flying above the water in Stuart, Florida. There are two types of pelicans in Florida: the brown pelican, which is a year-round inhabitant, and the white pelican, which is a "Snowbird" and flies down from the north during the cooler months to find solace in warmer temperatures in the south.
