Right Whale Calf Bust
Limited Edition Bronze Sculpture of a Right Whale Calf Head by Geoffrey C. Smith, 2024.
7.25"L x 3.25"W x 4"H
Rising with innocence and wonder, Right Whale Calf Bust captures a young whale discovering its ocean home. Its soft contours, gentle head slope, and upward gaze reflect a quiet sense of awe. Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, Smith hand-sculpts its wide, watchful eyes and delicate jawline into a warm, expressive portrait.
Finished with a deep ocean-blue patina, its rich surface evokes sunlight filtering through calm seas. As a striking accent piece, this small-scale sculpture brings quiet curiosity and a maritime charm to any room.
This sculpture is part of Geoffrey C. Smith’s 2024 Whale Collection, a series of bronze works celebrating the grace, endurance, and mystery of the sea’s great travelers.
