"The Estuary Tarpon" freezes at the absolute apex of an epic battle, capturing the legendary power and thrilling athleticism of the silver king. In this dramatic scene, this colossal gamefish breaches out of the water with its body flexed in an explosive, twisting leap. Cast using traditional lost-wax methods, the work features a custom, hand-applied patina. This finish beautifully accentuates the organic texture of each armor-like scale and the delicate fan of the fins.
The custom finish reflects an array of deep marine grays, iridescent silvers, and warm metallic highlights that mimic a wild saltwater tarpon catching the coastal sunlight. Rising to over five feet in height, this magnificent, outdoor-scale statue serves as a commanding architectural focal point and an extraordinary statement piece.
