The Graduate - Limited Edition Bronze Alligator Sculpture by Geoffrey C. Smith
Limited Edition Bronze Sculpture of an Emerging Alligator Head by Geoffrey C. Smith, 2019
12" L x 5.5" W x 2.5" H
A quiet intensity defines The Graduate. This bronze sculpture captures the powerful gaze of an alligator emerging from the water, its head barely breaking the surface. The meticulous detail of skin texture and the piercing gaze reflect Geoffrey’s decades of wildlife observation in the field. Cast using the traditional lost-wax process, it is finished with a custom, hand-applied patina that beautifully accentuates the organic depth of the reptile's scales.
Alligators have long fascinated Geoffrey as ancient symbols of patience, power, and the untamed spirit of the Everglades. This sleek bronze statue mirrors the way these apex predators silently navigate their environment, embodying a sense of calm control. As a striking tabletop centerpiece, it grounds a room with a quiet, commanding presence. The piece brings the ancient, untamed essence of a Florida alligator into any space.
