This original oil painting depicts the legendary bull elephant, who was one of the largest and most iconic tuskers ever documented, standing tall in the foreground of Kenya's Amboseli National Park. Utilizing an expressive palette knife technique, this rich process builds thick, textured impasto layers that bring out the weathered, rugged skin of the massive tusker alongside a gentle herd grazing across the green and yellow plains.
 
The composition captures a grand balance between strength and survival beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance.
