A bronze sculpture of a lion.

Lion Art

When I sculpt lions, I’m not just sculpting a body—I’m trying to give form to majesty itself.

My inspiration for these pieces goes back to the raw pulse of nature—the wild places where survival and beauty coexist in their most honest forms. Whether I’m deep in the bush of Africa or reviewing my sketches and footage, I study more than the anatomy. I study presence. I look at how they carry the weight of dominance with grace, how the wind moves through their mane like a crown they never asked for—but were born to wear.

For me, the lion is a symbol of ancient dignity, unshaken courage, and protective power. There's nobility in their stillness, a regal humility that I connect with. Not flashy. Not showy. Just... there. In command. That quiet confidence is something I strive for in my own life, and definitely in my work.
