Queen Angelfish and Four-eyed Butterfly

Queen Angelfish and Four-eyed Butterfly

Bronze Sculpture by Geoffrey C Smith

10"L x 15"W x 19"H on green marble circle base

A queen angelfish glides forward with quiet strength, accompanied by two four-eyed butterflyfish moving just below. The composition reflects the natural balance of reef life, where different species share the same space in a constant, fluid rhythm.

This bronze sculpture captures that harmony through contrast in scale and movement, with the larger angelfish anchoring the piece and the smaller fish adding energy and flow. The result is a clean, layered moment from the reef, translated into form with a sense of motion and presence.
