Wood Stork Collection

With its distinctive, prehistoric profile and towering presence, the Wood Stork is a true icon of Florida’s wild wetlands. Often seen foraging quietly in the shallow marshes, this remarkable wading bird serves as a powerful indicator of the health of our coastal ecosystems. For conservation artist Geoffrey C. Smith, capturing the Wood Stork is a tribute to the resilient, enduring spirit of the Everglades.

Rather than merely replicating its form, Geoffrey translates the stoic dignity and deliberate, elegant movements of the Wood Stork into timeless fine art. Through masterful lost-wax bronze casting and expressive oil paintings, he brings the intricate textures of their plumage and their unmistakable silhouettes to life.

Perfect for dedicated wildlife collectors or anyone who holds a deep appreciation for Florida's unique habitats, these meticulously crafted pieces offer a permanent connection to the untamed beauty of the marsh.
