Roseate Spoonbills

(Platalea ajaja) Roseate spoonbills are beautiful, flamboyant water birds with a spoon-shaped bill. These water birds are very common along the coastal waters of Florida, Texas, and Louisiana. They are often found along shallow waters in small flocks. They swing their heads side-to-side as they feed. Spoonbills are one of Geoffrey's favorite birds to create in art. His work would look great in your home.
