The Anniversary Pintails: A Limited Edition Duck Sculpture Collection

Updated: May 12

The Anniversary Pintail

Color Collection.

My journey with the Pintail started back in 1976 when I carved my initials, GCS '76, into a wooden original. Forty years later, to celebrate that milestone, I decided to revisit that design. This limited edition duck sculpture collection features the first castings of the Anniversary Pintails, finished in vibrant, colorful patinas that I personally oversaw at the old foundry in Montana in 2016.

What makes this anniversary collection unique is the nature of the finishes. Rather than traditional bronze tones, we used a heat-application process to create marble-like textures in a full spectrum of colors. Every single bird is a study in how heat and chemicals react with the metal.

We are down to only a few remaining editions of these duck sculptures in both big and small versions. For more information, please contact the studio.
